Welcome to the ASHRAE
Region VII CRC in New Orleans, LA!
We are pleased to extend a warm welcome to all of our fellow
ASHRAE members and their families to one of the world’s most interesting
and historical cities. We are
so happy to have you here, and to have an opportunity to share our unique
city and all it has to offer.
We have a wonderful meeting planned this year. We hope that you take the
opportunity to explore New Orleans a bit, and see why this city has cast a
spell over so many of its visitors and residents alike.
Special thanks are extended to our outstanding CRC Committee
Chairpersons and volunteers.
Without your help, this CRC would not be possible.
The CRC is an outstanding opportunity for fellowship,
collaboration, and encouragement with all of your fellow ASHRAE members
from across this great region.
I encourage each of you to take full advantage of the amenities and
opportunities available to you this year in New Orleans.
Our CRC will be based primarily in the Royal Sonesta Hotel
on world-famous Bourbon Street.
Our meetings, dinners, lunches, and the ever-popular Hospitality
Suite on the balcony overlooking Bourbon Street will be available right in
this glorious old hotel in the heart of the French Quarter. Don’t let your adventure stop
there, though. There are
numerous other distractions available right outside your door – world-class
dining, antique shopping, haunted history tours, Harrah’s Casino, the
world-renowned Audubon Zoo, the Aquarium of the Americas, and several
museums (including the recently-expanded National World War II Museum, the New
Orleans Museum of Art, and the Ogden Museum of Southern Art). Plan to come early and leave late!

enjoyable or productive, or if you have any questions concerning your
upcoming visit to New Orleans, please don’t hesitate to contact me or one
